6. What do you think of Valentine’s Day?

I’ve never really celebrated Valentines Day. When I was with my ex, our anniversary was the 18th Feb so we would always do things for that instead, and in previous relationships I always said that I wasn’t bothered about it. Personally, I think that you should show your partner how much you care for them every day, and not because it’s a “special occasion”. However, I don’t have anything against people going all out for Valentines. I work with kids, so I kind of love the cheesy aspect of it, and definitely incorporate it into my planning every year. There’s nothing cuter than listening to 4 year olds telling you who they love and why.

14. What’s your idea of a perfect date?

Something casual and relaxed. First of all meet for coffee and a chat, then have a wander around old book shops, picking out favourites, discussing why we love them, and buying a copy of something we think the other should read. Back to one of our houses, cook dinner together and share a bottle of red wine before cuddling up with a film.
